Pelvic Damage Helped

In 2003 I was injured at work, I was a private home care-giver, & I was transferring my patient from the wheelchair to the bed & she became aggressive, fighting & I scooped her up in a bear-hug, & picked her up & sat her on the bed; & I felt a horrible pain in my upper leg & groin area.
The next morn I couldn’t hardly walk, I went to my chiropracter, I had moved the pelvic area & the orthopaedic surgeon said hip surgery so 4 yrs later , due to waiting for the insurance co to o. k. my surg, the hip had depleated & was painful & painful to walk so I did a lot of sitting & waiting & praying. The following yr I had surg on the other hip, which left me with complications, & severe nerve damage, following extensive therapy, & also lymphatic fluid in my leg & foot.
Walking was next to impossible & was on a walker. A good friend of mine told me she would find a clinic that could help me, so off we went , wonderful therapists there, so I learned to control it thru exercise, support stockings & massage, it’s a daily challenge!!
From a wheelchair ,to a walker, to a walking cane, which helps , but changes the natural way one should walk !! I’m constantly looking for something to help to improve, so one day on the internet I was looking & I saw the Walking Poles.
I sent for them & when I use the Poles I can walk smoothly & they have improved my balance greatly !! I ‘m just overwhelmed !! I’m overjoyed to say the least, At last wonderful help!! When I improve more I would like to become an instructor for these Walking Poles.
God Bless, Jan
